Dayton 5.0 Performance has undergone many changes for 2008. The first and foremost is our name has changed. Our new name is Dayton Performance Motorsports. Our name was changed because we have broadened the parts and services we offer to include other makes and models besides our beloved stangs. As you check back to our site, you will see many more parts and services being added to our repertoir.
Another change is our location which is now 4681 Pinnacle Road, Dayton, Ohio 45418. We doubled our size currently to over 5000 square feet, with an engine assembly clean room, enlarged showroom and office area, and a dyno room. We currently have two lifts, with two more on their way.
And finally, we have purchased and installed a Dynojet 224XLC loading cell dyno. We will have pictures of the inside of the building soon.
We are excited about all the changes and new equipment for 2008. Please stop by and check out the new shop!
We stock hundreds of parts for late model 4.6 and 5.0 mustangs, which includes parts for suspension and handling, engine performance, transmissions, rear axles, interior, and even body parts. We offer custom and crate engines for all of your racing and performance needs. Our rebuilt T5 transmissions are competitively priced and are warranted.
Our staff has one goal, to serve you politely and only recommend the parts you will need, without steering you to the high priced parts only. Please look around the site and feel free to e-mail, or call us at 937-396-2946, or post on the daytonstangboard.com if you have any questions.

We had the opportunity to race and appear on the Speed channel show Pinks! this year. The episode was the season premier and aired on February 20, 2008. It has also been rerun twice since its premier. Dayton Performance built the engine and donated all of time and parts for the build.

The R/S car has a bunch of changes for the 08 NMRA real street season! First and foremost being the new paint scheme laid down by Chris Alexander(plated) from Cincinnati. I gave him the nod to make the car stand out and I think he did a fantastic job, but you can judge for yourself.
